JAZZ CLASSICS

Music Performance

The Harvey B. Gantt partnered with Bank of America to restore a series of portraits of beloved Jazz artists from the 1930’s. The exhibition was entitled “Jazz Greats”, and featured a string of performances to illustrate the spirit of the genre by present day artists. This performance with Bryan Patterson Jr & Javier Pizarro was the first performance in the actual exhibit.

BRYan Patterson And the sweet, sophisticated sounds of his saxophone enhanced the experience

for attendees of our 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Scholarship Breakfast. Bryan was gracious, professional, and timely in arranging and delivering the agreed-upon services. The 45-minute set was amazing. We look forward to future opportunities to experience him exercising his God-given musical talents.
